Unfortunately for me a bit average. I’m not sure where the Averna went but it didn’t add a lot to a standard sour.

I refrained from rating this because I upped the rich syrup to 10 ml. I have noticed that Simon likes austere cocktails. This is adapted, but I just couldn't find the original. Does it have more sugar syrup? :)
But with that 10 ml rich syrup this is very good, 4/5 :)

Enjoyed this cocktail but it is a bit one dimensional

I love this. It's like a whiskey sour with a dark, sexy voice.

I didn’t have Averna on hand - the interwebs suggested CioCiaro as a swap so went with that and found the drink to be immaculately balanced. Enjoyed it immensely! I’m convinced that citrus brings out the best in rye and bourbon.

Where does it came the hint of chocolate? Its sort of a naked and famous, but full clothed and anonymous. Older and more introspective. I don't know if I woudl do it again, but certainly is cute, interesteing, talkative. Good ol' cham

A deep, solemn and delicious sour, perfectly balanced. If you want to make it lighter and brighter, we suggest substituting Braulio for the Averna. And in the space of two drinks you will have travelled from sunny Sicily to the Alps.
