I used Bailoni for this instead of the peach liqueur. 5/5. Just perfect 🤩

I refrained from rating this because I upped the rich syrup to 10 ml. I have noticed that Simon likes austere cocktails. This is adapted, but I just couldn't find the original. Does it have more sugar syrup? :)
But with that 10 ml rich syrup this is very good, 4/5 :)
This is a very different cocktail compared to the original, and I like that. Riffs should be different. To me, though, this was more like Sangria. I don't really like wines, so it wasn't for me. The original was perfect, but I did use navy strength gin in it. At least Strucchi's Instagram reel calls only for dry gin. That makes we wonder how it differs from Negroni Sour. The only difference I can see is 5 ml in lemon juice. But maybe I would need to actual see the original recipe for Apocalypse Negroni.
This was actually really good, thanks 👍
Nice try, but not so balanced. Something is missing here.
We all have our unique palates, but because I rated this 5/5 and think this is a balanced cocktail, I am curious. What do yo think this cocktail is lacking? What kind of cocktails are balanced for you? :)
Dayum! This is actually very tasty. Instead of cream, which I don't have now, I used oat milk. I will make this with cream later. Thanks! :)
Lapponia cloudberry liqueur, Parfait amour liqueur, Pineapple juice, Heavy/double cream
I, for one, do generally like sweet cocktails, so the dryness Suze brings, surprised me in how I truly enjoy it. I am sipping this cocktail right now. 4.5/5 in my own notes 👍
Normally, I absolutely love Pisco Sour. It's one of my favorites. This one smelled and tasted like white wine, and I do not like wines at all. This one was 1/5. But I love experimenting :)
Campari is not really my favorite, although it does fare very well in many drinks. This is the first one I tried with Campari being the lead singer. Wow, it really rocked!
4.5/5
Wow! This was a pleasant surprise, 4/5. Thanks! :)
Darn, this was good! As a Finn, I'd love to hear more about this visit to Finland :)
This was one of the best cocktails I have ever made or otherwise tasted. What still puzzles me is how I could not detect the pineapple when in every other drink that has pineapple juice its presence is clear. Not being a big fan of pineapple juice this was a pleasant surprise. And a mystery :D
Thanks again, Simon!
I ordered two these and picked them up yesterday. Jigger had always been the weak point of my tools. The double-sided ones make a little more mess than I'd like, the small ones are inadequate, and all of them make me squint and pour slowly to be precise.
These Difford jiggers are frigging awesome. I am so happy with them. Thank you for taking the time to develop these :)
The 7-Up totally destroys this cocktail. This would be nearly perfect without it.
