Really nice and rich drink; however, I had followed Jim Meehan’s original specs and went with 2 oz Laird’s straight apple brandy, ¾ oz each lemon and orange juice. and ½ oz maple syrup. My wife very quickly said I should add it to the Rolodex! (I have not tried your specs yet.)

Made these tonight for World Calvados Day! Delicious! Added a tiny bit more lemon juice than recipe called for.

Tastes like the perfect cider with a nice smooth kick. Not too sweet or too boozy just right. Yum!

Loved the hint of maple at the end. Did use only 2/3s the amount of maple syrup as our oranges are super sweet. The cocktail is a bit on the sweet side, but not overbearing. Very nice.

This is a good cocktail thats sweet and smooth. I cant taste the maple directly but its just the right balance of sweetness with the orange I used.

Delicious with Meyer lemon juice. I prefer it with equal part lemon and orange!

This is more sweeter than we expect.
It’s like a Tatin pie. A short part of apple tarte. Really delicious.
