Hi Simon. Any recommendations for the Marsala wine? It’s probably the only drink I’ll use it for so I don’t want to break the bank!

I presently have Curatolo Arini Marsala Superiore Riserva Secco 2012 from TheWhiskyExchange.com but they also have Curatolo Arini Marsala at a mere £10.95 per bot which is worth a try.

ok i made a complete b*lls up here
firstly i used a mixer that had remnants of an old fashioned in it (5ml)
secondly i used Tarquins navy strength rum (ooff)
and thirdly i then read that it required a pickled almond for garnish and all i had was toasted flaked but what the hell i though so i pressed on......RESULT its bloody fantastic ....goes to show there can be lucky mistakes
