Very tasty, enough to try again and re-rate with the proper basil (I only had Thai basil, which I think made this a bit more bitter than it would be regular basil). I'll also back off on the simple a bit, as it was a tad sweet for me.

I muddled the basil leaves in the tin before shaking and fine straining. A superlative and strong summer refresher.

Basil=Summer=Gin. Very nice.

Just mixed this little beauty and it is lovely...not for the faint hearted and don't overdo the French nutter drink or it will overwhelm the cocktail
