Monstre Verte Cocktail
Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
| 1⁄4 oz | La Fée Parisienne absinthe |
| 1 1⁄2 oz | Hayman's London Dry Gin |
| 1⁄2 oz | Green Chartreuse (or alternative herbal liqueur) |
| 1⁄4 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
| 1⁄4 oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
| 4 fresh | Basil leaves |
How to make:
- Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
- Prepare garnish of basil leaf.
- POUR absinthe into ice-filled glass, TOP with chilled water and set aside.
- Separately, SHAKE other ingredients with ice.
- DISCARD contents of glass and refill with fresh ice.
- FINE STRAIN contents of shaker into the absinthe-rinsed glass.
