Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
14 oz La Fée Parisienne absinthe
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Green Chartreuse (or alternative herbal liqueur)
14 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
4 fresh Basil leaves
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Basil leaf

How to make:

POUR aniseed into ice-filled glass and TOP with chilled water. Separately SHAKE rest of ingredients with ice. DISCARD contents of glass and refill with fresh ice. Then fine strain contents of shaker into the now absinthe-coated glass.

I muddled the basil leaves in the tin before shaking and fine straining. A superlative and strong summer refresher.

Just mixed this little beauty and it is lovely...not for the faint hearted and don't overdo the French nutter drink or it will overwhelm the cocktail
