I've had some very tasty Australian wines over the years including at Disney World Florida's Epcot Center annual food and wine of the world month.

Yes! I think Australian wine has massively improved over the last few decades, many more growers and ever increasing focus on quality. I mostly drink white but some excellent reds as well.
