the version i made was with gin and lime juice. very pleasant. rye sounds more interesting though!

Delightful. Light with a hint of fruit. Did find it a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Would adjust the Rye (up) or the Apricot (down).

Essentially a Rye whiskey sour with apricot Liqueur instead of sugar syrup? Nice variation if you want something a little more complex than a standard whiskey sour. The apricot is subtle. The saline solution is an interesting touch; I definitely get a bit of saltiness on the back-end that cuts the citrus/sour short.
