The campari to rye ratio is spot on for me but needed a little extra chocolate flavor. A dash of chocolate bitters helped, might try it again with a touch more creme de cacao.

Rittenhouse Rye and Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao make for a stellar combo in this.

I tried it ‘up’ and found the Campari/Orange Bitters a bit overwhelming. For me, ‘on the rocks’ was preferable.
