I love this! I also quite like a 4:2:1 variant – 60ml rye, 30ml Punt e Mes, 15ml maraschino – which I think has a different and interesting balance.

Great drink in the late evenings after dinner. I use Dolin Rouge as the vermouth. One of my favorites.

Just made one with Dolin Rouge as it was the sweet vermouth and I had to hand and it’s great.

One of the favorite go-tos of minimal ingredient maximum flavor drinks. Spicy, cherry, boozy, balanced sweet. This had it all in 3! ingredients. Keeping Luxarso maraschino and punt e mes on hand just for this lux-urious flavor.

Fantastic end of night cocktail. Balancing spice from the rye, bitterness from the Punt e Mes and cherry stones from the Maraschino against sweetness of the vermouth and liqueur, this is a classic that I return to again and again to finish an evening of cocktailing.
