Definitely more at the summer waterside end of negroni (says he with blanket over knees). I had Nocello for hazelnut, but the walnut element predominated, so could potentially even halve it. Cocchi Americano Bianco and Select about 4:1. I haven’t had Frangelico in years (childhood sips at Christmas 😱) so might have to acquire a bottle at some point!

Wow, delicious. We used a walnut liqueur we had knocking around. The liqueur and salt add a subtle sweet richness that almost feels like having a small bite of salty nut chocolate at the end of a negroni.

Have enjoyed this with Cappelletti. Excellent with Cocchi Americano Bianco as well. The Frangelico takes it into a subtle but distinct extra dimensional space. ♡

I'll come back to this with the proper ingredients. Used Bombay gin, 2:1 blend of Cocchi Americano to Poli Gran Bassano, and cheap stupid hazelnut liqueur. Don't skimp on quality here. The bad nut just taints the piece.

A good Negroni for summer. The hazelnut liqueur adds richness rather than sweetness.
