Retired with more exact ingredients, including Giffard Creme de menthe and Sangue Morlacco. Surprisingly subtle and very well balanced. Mint cherry chocolate - yum! I can easily see this being a dinner party crowd pleaser.
In my rush to try this I used a clear triple sec instead of creme de menthe in error. Actually it worked very nicely and readers who are not too keen on mint may wish to try this as a variant.
After dinner mints on acid. I’m not sure minttu works with this, but it’s what I had. Pretty much as described. Sangue Morlacco definitely worked better than cherry Heering, which I guess shouldn’t be surprising. Had to cut the lemon by half due to current crop. Overall very tasty, tangy and richly dessert-like.
