While many of us would love to see Elon Musk orbit Mars (as many times as possible), I noticed the reference to the 1643 coronation of Louis XIV and decided to upload a recipe I've been working on that also has a French 1643 connection and that fills a possibly much-needed gap in the long list of generalizations of Tarling's 20th Century cocktail, namely, the 17th Century:
