An absolute go-to for everyone who's gotten too used to the ordinary negroni. Made this with Plymouth Sloe Gin and Lustau Rosé and it was an absolute treat. Very first moment is just your usual negroni and then the plummy notes of the sloe gin hit your palate and transform the thing entirely. Also good call to use Rose Vermouth instead of Rosso as the Sloe Gin itself adds quite some dark heavy thick sweet notes already

I've been looking for a good "holiday-time" candidate for this new bottle of Hayman's Sloe Gin and I think I found it. Adding sloe gin as a fourth ingredient in an equal-parts Negroni recipe would only make the Negroni sweeter and heavier, so emphasizing the London dry and lightening the vermouth like this is a smart approach to take. The Hayman's Sloe Gin is particularly nice, and I went with Martini & Rossi Riserva Speciale Bitter to avoid overpowering it with Campari. Lacking a true "rosato vermouth" (of which there don't seem to be very many), I used Ramazzotti Aperitivo Rosato which does a good job of lightening things up. A superior Negroni; 5 stars.

A New favourite negroni, and a new favourite full stop! Brilliant use for sloe gin. Significantly more laid back than the standard negroni. Used select as the red bitter to emphasise the berry characters, and Cocchi Americano rosa was the closest vermouth I had, which I felt worked well. And good old beefeater gin.

I concur with your opinion on the Sloegroni, especially for something to mix around holiday time.

A very subtle negroni and very well balanced. Sloe Gin adds another layer of flavour. Definitely will do again.
