Ingredients:
1 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
23 oz Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur)
23 oz Hayman's Sloe Gin
23 oz Rosé/rosato vermouth
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare orange slice for garnish.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
  5. Garnish with orange slice.

A New favourite negroni, and a new favourite full stop! Brilliant use for sloe gin. Significantly more laid back than the standard negroni. Used select as the red bitter to emphasise the berry characters, and Cocchi Americano rosa was the closest vermouth I had, which I felt worked well. And good old beefeater gin.

A very subtle negroni and very well balanced. Sloe Gin adds another layer of flavour. Definitely will do again.
