Sounds nice! Gonna try. One question, the garnish - it just says "prepare" but doesn't say any more. Float the sweets on top? Crush to a powder and rim the glass? (With what liquid to attach?) Something else?

As per the photo (sorry, one of our very old pre-digital photographs), it should have an orange zest twist. The sweets are a suggestion to serve with the cocktail. I've now corrected. Thanks for bringing to my attention.

Theres no such thing as a Palma Violet. Its PARMA, with an "R" - both the cocktail and the sweets. One google search is all it takes.

Thanks, James. I've corrected the name of the sweets but the cocktail is named/spelt how Jamie sent it to me. Not my cocktail to rename.

The crème de violette I used (the bitter truth) was a bit too overpowering for me so I upped the peach and tuned down the violette. Great falvour combination. My girlfriend definitely loved it.

I thought this might be too sweet for my taste so omitted the sugar syrup. The peach mellows the violet, interesting and different, we liked it.

I didn't like this (in fact I couldn't even bring myself to finish it). It was well balanced, and it definitely had a violet taste--which is what it says on the tin--so I can't complain and I can't say it's a bad drink. It's just not for me.

Very nice cocktail. This is for Creme De Violet fans. Brings back memories from childhood we always had violet mints/candies.
