Brilliant, I used a Junmai Ginjo Hiyashibori from Konishi (Dry/Crisp/Mellow flavour), Dolin Red and Buffalo Trace, a very refreshing, moreish sipper, can't wait to play around with other combinations.

So I’m very torn on this cocktail. The sake definitely comes through, enough that that you want to use good sake. However, any sake that I would deem good enough to use I would want to drink on its own. It’s a conundrum.

This is really good! The sake helps bring out some more of the butterscotchy coconut notes I get from Four Roses bourbon and the sweetness from the vermouth bring out the best of the Akashi Tai Honjozu sake I'm using. Really good stuff!

Beautifully delicate blend of bourbon and vermouth enhanced by sake. One of my favourite coctails.
