Really decent, if a little one note. The aquafaba (which I used in place of egg white), was not too foamy. Orange and lemon predominate, with orange-custard from the Bourbon (at least in my opinion).

This is really, really yummy. I expect I'll cut back just a tad on the simple syrup next time, but even as written it's hard to go wrong with this combo.

Most egg white sours you dry shake first. Any reason why not in this one?

This cocktail is so old that it pre-dates the dry shaker! I have now amended. As per the comment below, the recipe looks like it will be too sour. I will address! Thanks for bringing to my attention.

Tried cutting back the lemon to 22.5ml but ended up preferring 30ml lemon juice but with additional 10ml sugar syrup. Hope an improvement?

Takes over, hmmm does need less agreed. Maybe 3/4
