This was delicious, I used The Difford's Daiquiri Heritage Blend. Kanpai Sumi sake (it's distilled in Peckham and I like to support local producers), Dolin Dry and Una Palma Fino. I used a Colston Basset stilton from Neil's Yard Dairy's shop in Bermondsey to stuff my Queen olives. I'm a little wary of playing with your template but since I just bought some Martini Ambrato, for One Sip Martinis, I'm thinking of trying that and/or swapping Manzanilla for Fino. Thoughts...

Great to hear you liked it! Yes, I think Ambrato (which is delicious) and manzanilla will work well. I very much look forward to trying myself.

This particular cocktail works around the delicate blue cheese/mushroom notes that are specific to Bacardi. Ideally use Difford's Bacardi Heritage Blend.

Many thanks for the order! I used to use Roquefort as I always had some in the fridge and its creaminess makes it easy to use but ideally, I'd use a classic English Stilton. Really hope you like the cocktail.

Since I wouldn't want to mess too much with one of your proudest creations the Heritage Blend is on order. The Sake (Kanpai Sumi from Peckham!) is chilling, along with the Una Palma and Dolin and the Queen olives are ready to be stuffed. Just one last question - which blue cheese?

Was wondering if this would work with Havana Club 3 Year Old instead of the Bacardi?

Another lovely fino sherry aperitif. Nailed the delicate sweet/savoury balance. Lovely mouthfeel with the sake. Crave’able.
