Are you sure about the sweet/dry level 4? I would say its on the drier side. 6.

Agreed, Michael. I've moved to be a 6.

Do you remember what the genre of the song was? It sounds super familiar

I can pigeonhole a cocktail but not so good on music - alternative/indie/lounge perhaps.

Any particular type of sake you'd recommend? Something lighter I'm guessing...

This was delicious and has turned my wife onto martinis. Sake is delicately fruity, and the drink is delicious. The fino is great but be careful because anymore than just a little and it will overwhelm the drink.

Tried original recipe and liked it a lot.
This is (IMHO) better than Marsala Martini.
Do you think it could be good also with 3y/o Bacardi rum?

You are right, it was a typo. I meant Havana 3y/o.
Thank you for the info!

Great to hear you like it. Havana 3 year old is great in other cocktails but doesn't suit this one so well. Bacardi make a 4 year old that may suit this but I'm not aware of their making a 3yo.

I made this substituting Port for Sherry, it was very nice and suitable blood red for the time of year.

Simon did not over-sell this. What a drink. Added to the regular rotation and can't wait for next time.
