Inthis form makes a fabulous brunch cocktail as in previous comment. If you’re looking for a pre dinner cocktail then reduce the grapefruit to 30ml and add a dash of grapefruit bitters

Works well as the revised and convenient three-ingredient cocktail. Refreshing and fruity without being sweet. Some may prefer optional sugar syrup to taste. Definitely one (or three) for a hot summer day, especially if flights to somewhere exotic and tropical cannot be relied upon...!

Great brunch cocktail. Not too sweet and very refreshing. Had it for my 70th Birthday brunch.

Both my daughters like a Porn Star Martini and during lockdown we couldn't get lemons and limes, but could get grapefruit so we decided to try this cocktail. My daughters enjoy this more than me and would probably score this a bit higher. I found it a fraction too sweet for my taste and we did try without the sugar syrup, but, as we found out, the sugar syrup is needed to balance the "bitterness" of the grapefruit, not the sourness.

It's 17 years since I last tried this cocktail and in that time glasses and serves have much reduced in scale. Hence, I scaled this drink back and while doing so I've also rebalanced to remove the sugar syrup. Happily, it's now a 3-ingredient cocktail and hopefully also better balanced.
