It's a classic for a reason. It's pretty much the perfect any time cocktail. I like to add a sprig of young thyme to the shaker, something about thyme, grapefruit and tequila is ethereal.

Used Herradura, Pink Ting, and Ocean Spray white grapefruit juice... a bit sweet, but has fairly nice balance overall... Naturally, I'd prefer a touch more acidity and boozy bite. (22 May 2022, 5:00p)

I didn't have soda, and generally prefer a shorter drink so my version is
30ml tequila, 15ml mezcal, 30ml grapefruit juice, 12.5ml lime, 10ml agave and a tiny pinch of salt. Will definitely be making again

This is my fav version so far! Used Fever-Tree Sparking grapefruit soda instead. Great summer drink with the prefect punch!

I love the ratios of this version. Used Schweppes Agrum instead and it turned out very refreshing and not too sweet. This will turn out to be one of my go to drinks in summer for sure.
