Well this was a little treat, something very Italian about it. Felt like I should have just got out of a little 2 seater wearing a cravat. Read all the other comments and decided to add 5ml to each of the gin and Bianco and 10ml less maraschino. Absolutely lovely.
40 Edinburgh Gin, 30 americano,15 Luxardo, 8 drops BT grapefruit bitters and I thought this was excellent. Very moreish and delicious; in the style on a white negroni.
I replaced Americano Bianco with Lillet as I didn't have a bottle at hand, and the result was great. A very maraschino forward drink, but well balanced, in which cherry and grapefruit shine. So simple that it should have been a 100 years old recipe.
