My first Negroni. Was worried if it would annihilate my sopping wet palate, but it was pretty good actually. A melange of botanical complexity was rounded off by a bitter hum. Was a great digestif.
Interesting drink. Probably won't be replacing my standard negroni, but it's worth trying.
Consider giving a slightly longer-than-average stir as the Jäger & vermouth should already be chilled, so it needs a bit more time to get the dilution it wants. The image shows a wheel garnish, but I am more partial to the zest recommended in the recipe.
Wonderful negroni. Jägermeister adds an interesting blend of herbal flavours which combine with the gin's herbals to create a burst of tastes. Did start out a bit sweet, but became softer as the cocktail breathed and some of the ice melted.
Surprised how well this came together. Used Antica Torino for the vermouth. The Jager fits in splendidly. Putting this in the rotation. (21 Feb 2022, 1:04p)

Use Amaro instead of Campari and you'll have a wonderfully balanced and moreish drink that could even convert the most ardent negroni hater.
