A bit mild for my tastes (though I substituted Gran Classico for the Suze). But I had a blast adding a white camellia flower to the lemon for the garnish.

Maybe it was the El Jimador, or maybe the fact I was a little heavy-handed with the Suze and ended up using 20 ml, or maybe because I was distracted by the music I was listening to (The Comet is Coming) and topped rather than measured the soda but.. delicious! Smoky, floral, bittersweet, refreshing. That's a 5+ from me.

Excellent refreshing cocktail with exhilarating floral background notes. Went down well as a pre-dinner drink.

It's been 5 years since I last made this but your comment drove me to remake and so fix "top with soda in method". I also really wish I'd added something floral to the garnish so I've also added a note to that effect. Many thanks for taking the time to log-in and comment.
