My version of the established Jamie's Italian Gennaro's Sidecar is a tad boozier than the original, but retains the balance between sweet limoncello liqueur...
Very close to the Lady's Sidecar in overall flavor. Maybe a little more balanced and definitely not as dry. It's interesting because this one "flip-flops" the sour/sweet notes vs the Lady's Sidecar. This one starts with the sweetness of the Limoncello and finishes with more of the citrus sour tones. Very nice though.
Really enjoy this variation on the traditional Sidecar. I’ve made it twice now, the second time swapping orangecello for limoncello. It was even better! Lots of layers to this simple, well-balanced cocktail.
Really enjoyed this. I used Dillon's Limoncello which is not sweet like many brands. To compensate, I added 2.5ml of rich syrup which for me really tamed the tartness. Nicer than sugar rim.
