I mean surely someone's missed a trick not calling it a 'Sloegroni'?

We also have a “Sloegroni” - please see “Variant” link above.

Lovely variation that really keeps the original bittersweet Negroni character. I used Spirit Works Sloe Gin and Rutte Dry gin and they were lovely together. I'll make this again!

I made it with pacharán instead of sloe gin, and I think this adds a nice bit of complexity. Lovely winter drink!

Pacharán is a superb sloe berry liqueur and I can imagine its anise notes sitting brilliantly in this cocktail. Many thanks for the tip. I look forward to trying. A Lento Negroni perhaps?

Sloe Gin adds an interesting taste, but a very, very good aperitif. Slightly bitter, but much softer in taste. Good sipping and conversation cocktail.

This is lovely. Slightly takes the bitter edge off a negroni without softening it too much.
