I don't quite understand how the shot could possibly come out coloured as the picture with Mr Black (or Kahlua) included

Agreed! A 20+ year old pre-digital photography pic. I've just made and shot with my phone (pic will appear soon) as a temporary image until Dan is able to reshoot and replace.
