A classic Daiquiri made fruity with the addition of black raspberry liqueur and pineapple juice

A tasty drink suitable for a warm evening. Slightly on the dry side, but overall relatively light, despite the amount of rum. Unfortunately made without the bitters. I'll have to try the French martini next.

I followed the Pineapple martini with this French Daiquiri: very good, but not as good as the martini.

Yum! Nice alternative to the French Martini (in case you have spare pineapple juice).
The Angostura White rum is perfect in a straight Daiquiri; an alternative (if you like a bit more of a rum "punch") is the Santisima Trinidad de Cuba - goes well in a Hemingway Daiquiri as well.
