I was a bit concerned by the shot and a half of liqueur, but the vermouths do dry and balance. Very fruity, as one might expect. Pleasant and floral.

I was very generous with the (homegrown) lemon spritzing, which helped to add kick.

Nice enough, goes down easy. Not going to change your life but a nice little late afternoon aperitif.

A sweet drink with the obvious floral tastes of creme de violette and an amazing dark blue color. It doesn’t feel like you’re drinking booze and that makes sense because the ingredients have a relatively low alcohol content. Ideal for those who prefer light and sweet drinks. s
