Is it "pine like".? Never had it.

Not necessarily pine-like - Amaro Braulio imparts a very slight menthol and camphor quality. It actually contains Absinthe and Gentiane, which is probably why I didn't feel the need to add the Absinthe rinse.
I really like using Braulio in cocktails, and if you happen to find the Riserva version, it's even better (a bit tamer and refined, to me).
Also, a good alternative for Chartreuse Jaune is Grand Olan Liqueur from the Meunier distillery (which is just 10kms from Voiron, home of Chartreuse)

Definitely in the hall of fame.
I would typically add 5 drops of Bob's Abbots bitters, and tend to favour an Orange zest twist instead of Maraschino cherry.
For those of you who like to explore alternatives:
40ml Rittenhouse Rye,
20ml Amaro Braulio,
15ml Chartreuse Jaune,
2 Dash Peychaud's,
5 drops Abbots bitters,
Orange zest twist,
Stir, strain in rocks glass.
In this one no need for the Absinthe rinse as Amaro Braulio imparts a reminiscent taste.

Just did this one replacing Fernet with Ferro China del Moro (a Calabriese FerroChina that has the peppermint and liquorice taste of Fernet Branca + the ferrous aftertaste typical of Ferrochina).
Absolutely stunning!
