Delicious. Perfect balance. I use Plymouth, Dolin blanc, Blume Marillen, Regan’s. A touch heavier on the gin.

This is such a great drink. I use Plymouth and Noilly Prat extra dry.
I dial back substantially on the orgeat. Otherwise, too sweet for my taste.
I was thinking we are just out of waldorfs. Have to say the drink beats the salad.
Fabulous. I made it with a joven and Strega instead of yellow Chartreuse (a contradiction of terms). Dialed back the lime a tad. Delicious. The Missus loved it, too.
Made this with Cocchi Americano Rosa, orange twist. Otherwise as prescribed. Dangerously delicious drink.
Fabulous cocktail.
Substitute aquavit for the rye, lemon twist for the orange, and you've got a Sophisticated Dane, which was invented by me.
The aquavit on my bar cart is O.P. Anderson - so maybe it's more a Swank Swede.
