Serve in a Highball (max 10oz/300ml)

Ingredients:
2 oz Brandy, whisk(e)y, gin, rum etc.
Top up with Ginger ale, soda, tonic water or other carbonated mixer

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Highball (max 10oz/300ml) glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange, lime or lemon slice (as appropriate to the spirit or the carbonate).
  3. POUR spirit into ice-filled glass.
  4. TOP with a carbonated soda (ginger ale, soda or tonic water).
  5. Garnish with fruit slice.

Amazing that this wonderful drink hasn't generated a single comment. I'm currently enjoying a highball comprising 60ml bottled-in-bond Mellow Corn straight corn whiskey, 75ml soda and a twist of lemon. Partner is having a brandy highball. C'mon, show this classic some respect!
