I’ll admit that a I made this cocktail to use up some of the left over advocaat from Christmas. But I can report that I am now a firm convert to the jaded lady. The rich creamy advocaat together with the citrus orange and the surprise blue curaçao is now a firm favourite.

Agreed; though I quite like advocaat so I never have any problem finishing the bottle. This is pretty though (a Martini glass is really worth it here), and it tastes fine. I'm not particularly a gin fan (I prefer bourbon) and you can definitely taste the gin here, but I'd happily have another.

At Christmas this must be the only way to get through that bottle of Advocaat before it occupies that spot at the back of the fridge for the rest of the year
it had a good taste and a good amount of theatre which is exactly what you want at Christmas
