Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.

Prepare garnish of coin-sized lemon zest twist.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice.

FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

We only have ONE Monkey Shoulder in this God's forgotten land. Nevertheless for quite a while I did trends for William Grant & Sons, mainly for Hendricks -some years before pandemic- and I even do research and trends for Monkey at the very end days. So, I did this with MS, but not the transparent one. Is very good, not far from the concept that MS is a whisky made to blend. I like it. Simon: should this recipe be in the Last Word commandments?
