A delicately flavoured, summertime gin sour. Best served late afternoon to accompany cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
History:
Adapted from a cocktail created by Adam Minegar at Hemlock Bar in Catskill, New York, USA. In place of the two sugar syrups, the original recipe calls for 22.5ml (¾oz) homemade cucumber syrup made with equal parts extracted and strained English cucumber juice and white sugar.
