Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water) 65.0°Brix

4 drop

Cardamom bitters

3 drop

Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or pinch of salt

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.

Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice.

FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and skewer (preferably with a skull-topped pick) for garnish.

I don't have Cardamom Bitters, Would it be better to infuse the vodka with some cardamom pods, or use different bitters? I have Angostura, Orange Angostura, Peychauds and Bob's Chocolate.

Perhaps try without the bitters and then adjust to suit our own palate.

We start the halloween festivities. Maybe the cardamom is too dominant, but is fasceted with the banana flavor. I noticed normally almost don't drink vodka so this a little strange for me. Is Stoli. I like the flavor. Lets see if I continue with this festivities drinks I can make a better costume.
