Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Ketel One Vodka
4 oz Tomato juice
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
8 drop Hot pepper sauce (red vinegar-based e.g. Tabasco)
4 dash Worcestershire sauce
2 grind Black pepper
1 pinch Celery salt
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. RIM glass with salt (moisten outside edge with lime juice and dip into salt).
  3. ROLL (rotate shaker over and over, rather than shake) all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass. Use ice from freezer (rather than ice machine/chest) to fill glass to avoid unwanted dilution.
  5. Garnish with celery stick.

Back in the day, Black's Club in Soho introduced a breakfast menu... to which I added my favourite breakfast: Bloody Mary with a bacon sandwich.

Thought this was the kind of cocktail you should try at least once. But I actually really like it. My partner (who is slightly hungover today) also really appreciates it. I see myself making more of these in the future.

James White Drinks Ltd makes a spiced tomato mix called Big Tom, which takes all the work out of making a Bloody Mary, and is delicious on its own. I had not realised before just how good tomato juice could taste.
