This is one drink where both alcohols shine. The El Dorado rum shows upfront but then it switches to the wood and dark fruit flavor of the Amontillado (Jerez) mid way in the palate. The apple juice becomes just noticeable at the finish (a fleeting flavor). Was looking for a not-too-sweet cocktail and I found it in this one. Could really become a favorite "fall season" cocktail. Very nice. May add a touch of Allspice Dram and see what it does.
