Ingredients:
1 fl oz Nonino AnticaCuvée Riserva 5 Year Old Grappa
1 fl oz Akashi-Tai Junmai Daiginjo Genshu sake chilled
1 fl oz Ambrato/ambre/amber vermouth chilled
16 fl oz Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

How to make:

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2026 by Charles Schumann at his Schumann's Bar in Munich, Germany. Tomodachi (友達) means "friend/companion" in Japanese, a reference to the sake in the recipe that Charles created for his friends at Nonino. His original recipe specifies: 25ml Grappa Nonino Riserva AnticaCuvée 5 Years, 25ml sake, 25ml amber vermouth and a few dashes of Amaro Nonino Quintessentia.

  • 19.6 grams of pure alcohol
