Prepare
- Select a FLUTE GLASS.
- Drop chilled blackberry or raspberry into bottom of chilled glass.
Method
- POUR sloe gin into the glass
- TOP with sparkling wine.

The British version of the classic Kir Royale.
Review
Strike the right balance of fizz to liqueur (about 7:1), and you'll have a tasty celebratory wine. (The fruit in the base of the glass generates a constant flow of rising bubbles, but slow drinkers may finish with a flat cocktail.)
