Good drink, fruity but not overwhelming.

The flavors are surprisingly complimentary and make for a very palatable cocktail! Used a Bunnahabhain 12 year islay single malt and Trader Joe's canned pineapple juice and it could probably use less rich simple as it's almost too sweet.

Pleasantly surprised with how dynamic these flavors are. Dewar's White Label and Lakewood Organic pineapple juice. Pretty spectacular. Great template for testing Scotch brands.

Tried the Bourbon version, with 3/4 lemon and 1/2 simple syrup rather than the 3/4 I saw online (the pineapple juice adds enough sweetness and body). Very nice! I'll try the Scotch version soon...

Used Johnnie Walker Black. Delicious smoky pineapple.

Not complex but the whisky (I used Shackleton Blended) gave it character. Easy to drink.

2nd pineapple cocktail of the night, definitely much better. The malty backnote of the Scotch plays really well with the fruitiness of the pineapple.
