Ghosts and goblins, gargoyles and graves: it's that time of year again to cut up old sheets, paint on the fake blood, stock up on sweets and make a good

Review:

Dry and Martini-like. Assertive kümmel flavours pervade a punchy mix of rum and coconut water.

History:

Touted as Tiki's answer to the Dry Martini, this cocktail is purported to have originated at the Luau Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Coconut water is a later inspired addition by Ricard Godwin in his 2016 The Spirits book, which calls for 60ml rum, 25ml coconut water and 10ml Kummel.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.5 standard drinks
  • 21.47% alc./vol. (42.94° proof)
  • 20.4 grams of pure alcohol
