Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
34 oz Bourbon whiskey
12 oz Giffard Vanille de Madagascar
12 oz Licor 43 Original liqueur
12 oz Butterscotch liqueur
34 oz Chilled water
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of doughnut segment.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

My attempt at mimicking the taste of a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut without ending up with an overly sweet cocktail.

Tried it with Dr. McGillicuddy's Butterscotch schnapps and the flavor is overpowering at 1/2 oz.

Very good, but to me, something is missing. I can't think what it might be —maybe a touch of salt? But still, a very enjoyable warm cocktail for a cool afternoon / evening.
