1 1⁄2 fl oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
2⁄3 fl oz Pineapple juice
2⁄3 fl oz Sorrel (Hibiscus) water
1⁄2 fl oz Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight)
1⁄2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of edible flowers.

The sorrel adds a really nice herbaceous touch but I think the honey ruins it. I would have preferred just sugar syrup, otherwise interesting cocktail.
