How to make:
SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass. TOP with champagne.
Special ingredient #1: Truffle salt
1 2/3 fl oz | Bacardi Gold rum |
1/3 fl oz | Vanilla sugar syrup |
2/3 fl oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄2 barspoon | *Special ingredient #1 (see above) |
Top up with | Brut champagne or sparkling wine |

In my cocktail I mix these with truffle salt to represent my city, Lyon, and vanilla to represent my roots in Madagascar. This cocktail is a tribute to my family, who in 1960 travelled to Europe looking for a better future.”
