20 best Mango liqueur cocktails

The quality of mango liqueurs has improved dramatically over recent years and I was inspired to create any of the following cocktails when our first bottle of Chinola Mango Liqueur was sent to us towards the end of 2024. It mixes brilliantly with mezcal, so if you only try one of the following cocktails, be sure it's the Mezcal Mango Margarita.

M. M. M. (Mezcal Mango Margarita)
With: Mezcal, blanco tequila, mango liqueur, lime juice, agave syrup and saline solution.
We say: : Mezcal and mango were made to go together in a Margarita.

Mango Basil Margarita
With: Fresh basil, reposado tequila, mango liqueur, lime juice and agave syrup.
We say: Mango and basil nestle with, rather than dominating, tequila in this fruity Margarita.

Mango Basil Smash
With: Fresh basil, dry gin, mango liqueur, lemon juice, and sugar syrup.
We say: Mango adds fruitiness to the contemporary classic Gin Basil Smash.

Mango Colada
With: Gold rum, mango liqueur, cachaça, cream of coconut, lime juice, pineapple juice, saline solution, and xanthan gum.
We say: Mango leads the all-important coconut and pineapple in this rum-laced colada.

Mango Daiquiri
With: Light white rum, cachaça, mango liqueur and lime juice.
We say: Tropical, potent and refreshing.

Mango Gin Martini
With: Old Tom Gin, mango liqueur, bianco vermouth.
We say: This fruity cocktail does indeed have hints of "Martini" and is drier than the ingredients might suggest.

Mango Mac
With: Scotch whisky, mango liqueur, seated single malt, ginger liqueur, lemon juice, ginger bitters and saline solution.

With: Blanco tequila, mango liqueur, lime juice, and mango soda.

We say: As the name suggests, this is a properly fruity Whiskey Sour is bourbon-led with honeyed mango balancing zesty lemon sourness.
