Lovely balance here. Question for our good host: what effect are bartenders and mixologists aiming for by including orange blossom water in a cocktail? To our taste, the effect is a hint of bitterness and herbaceously floral notes. So perhaps here, it serves as a complement to the Absinthe 'bitters'? Cheers.
Like the two other comment, I found that the balance of this drink was a bit off. I tried to add a bit of amaretto like mister Hinojos had suggested. the mix was better but a bit flat, for my taste. So I tested with a bit more of Maraschino and some orange flower water, like mister Dworkin tried. I liked that version a bit more.
This is nice, but it seems to be missing the almond flavour. It seems to be overshadowed by the Maraschino and Absinthe. Could increase the Orgeat or maybe add some Amaretto.
