Been serving with soda and both sloe & Plymouth gins along with egg white. Tried this recipe with only sloe gin, champagne and no egg white. My folks say NEVER go back. This is it!
I'd like to think I'm any thing but cheap but I didn't know there was a better way to make a sloe gin fizz than with soda. Consider me among the converted. Spreading the word. Also, tried with prosecco. Preferred brut.
This was a great addition to our brunch today. The cocktail is a bit on the sour side, so you may want to increase the sugar. I like sour drinks and this was perfect as written.
