I made this with some Smoky Earl Grey tea I had from Fortnum & Masons (I know!) and it was so good. I added some lemon juice as personally I think it needs it go help the Earl Grey flavour. The smoke really blends well with the gin and Earl Grey.

This also works very well with Frangelico. I think the hazelnut flavour works better personally.
Where can you buy white cranberry juice in the UK? I’ve tried looking and have not had any luck so far.
I must be one of about seven people who don’t like this film (I really don’t!) but I do like this cocktail. I used a homemade Cherry Gin I made which worked well but and it does have the ‘slight’ carrot taste. Great cocktail, just a shame about the film.
Blanco tequila, White crème de cacao, Whipping cream, Blue curaçao liqueur
The garnish ingredients need to be in the ingredients list if they are this involved and important to the cocktail.
Agreed, and a recipe wouldn’t hurt either.
The possibilities with this are endless. After trying this (I thought it was okay), I went with Apricot as everyone knows that goes with Bourbon like Hemingway goes with Daiquiris. And it works! Also works with Amaretto and Frangelico.
OK, any idea why this cocktail is named for a character from The Cosby Show?
Don’t you mean The Fresh.Prince?
Can’t taste the cherry at all.
There’s a variation of this called Skater On Crack, which is 30ml/1oz of Pineapple Rum, 30ml/1oz Pineapple juice, 30ml/1oz Jäegermeister, 22.5ml/0.75oz Lime juice and 22.5ml/0.75oz of simple syrup. And it is glorious.
Works just as well with Blood Orange juice. Bloody Thunderbird anyone?
Also works with Absolut Hunni.
Any reason why this stone sour is made with egg white/aquafaba/etc and not the others?
Would Cava make it a Spanish Spritz?
Disappointed this is nothing to do with Gloria Estefan. Sigh.
This needs adjusting quite a lot. One slice of cucumber is t enough, plus it needs more gin and Gentian liqueur. I went with about 2 inches of cucumber, 60ml of Gin and 40ml of Suze. Then I could taste every ingredient. I also used mixed peppercorns, as each different pepper (white, black, green, pink and red) picked out a different ingredient. It gave it more taste and more oomph.
Made with Hangar 1 vodka and Revolution Chocolate and Coffee liquor. I was surprised that the vodka was so prevalent. I expected the espresso to overpower. It is more like a martini than I expected. I will try some other favorite vodkas, do not be afraid to use the good stuff as it will shine through.
If you want to try other vodkas, Absolut Rasberri is amazing in this.
Finally! A use for my liquorice bitters!
This is so delicate and light! The pairing of coconut and absinthe shouldn’t work, but here is delightful and it tastes just right. This is delightful.
Would the name and the addition of orange not echo Lady Grey tea (which is Earl Grey tea with orange) as opposed to just being deemed feminine?
Oh yeah, this is good. Love the smoky Mezcal combining with the Aperol and the Maraschino, which on paper shouldn’t work but it does. Some of the variations below sound interesting so I’ll be trying them.
Used Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz gin for this, and it blends in perfectly. Gives it a really full bodied kick.
I used Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin for this, and wow. The Shiraz gin and sloe gin are amazing together.
Didn’t have any green grapes so I used black sable grapes. Very tasty! Blackbelt perhaps?
What is cigar syrup?
